Just tried to sign-up for PG, and I get: "We are unable to enroll you at this time. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact customer service at 1-877-202-8828" Same for me and the wife. Any thoughts? TIA, -=HUV=-
The site could be undergoing some maintenace or something, or they may not have been able to verify your identity. Try back in the morning and see if it lets you go then.
I had the same problem when I tried to sign up using my Pay Pal card. After switching to a regular card, everything worked fine.
Still no go with the online registration. Also, when I check my CC account, I see that there are 8 charges of $1 (all the times I tried to registerr for me and my wife! Guess I need to call. Hope they can clean this up.
I had 9 of the suckers. I called paypal and that helped a lot too. Of course I also called privacyguard to help them get it straight.
Are they kidding me! I called the 1-877-202-8828 number that the website have me this weekend. The CSR I spoke with told me I need to speak with their "online" support department, and gave me another number (1-800-827-6364). Don't call it cuz' it's AOL's support number!!!!! So... I called back, and a different CSR was able to sign me up, but not help with the 9 $1.00 charges from my failed attempts. So, she signs me up, and then transfers me to the tech support area - without giving me any login information! (more on that later). The tech support manager I spoke with asks for my CC number, which I gave her, and she sees no record of any charges made to it from Privacy Guard. Then tells me I need to fax a copy of my CC statement to the "Office of the President" at PRovacyGuard in order to get my $9 back. Now.... back to my account. I call back AGAIN, and tell the new CSR that I have just setup my new account, and that the previous CSR neglected to tell my my membership number so that I can login and access my account. He tells me that he cannot give me any information on my account for 24-48 hours, as it takes that long to update their system! Is it me, or is PG a joke? Anyone else having these problems! -=HUV=-
Almost but not quite. Although I like their service it is not a "class act" by any stretch of the imagination.
