1)Is privacyguard giving you the runaround or denying it?
2)are you still getting hards pulled?
3)do you need the hards removed right away because you are applying for a loan

    email me at picantel4343@Hotmail.com

I have a contact who can help you right away. However, obviously she cannot get swamped with emails or nobody can get helped. If you can wait out the 2 weeks no problem then let TU and PG handle it. they are aware of the problem and are working on it. However, if you need service right away then email me and I will give you her email address. Remember she is somewhere out west and does most work in the evenings. It took me 2 days to get everything removed. Be very nice to her. No yelling, no bitching, no threats, nothing. She kept her word to me every single time. It is the best cust service I have ever had. Also remember I have a life. I have children, camco business, tons of emails to answer, ect. also, I do sleep at night believe it or not so I will check my email every 2 hours until I go to bed.

    (Another bump)
I'm wondering if I need to pursue follow-up on mine and DW's of if we're just as well off to wait to see if PG/iplace/consumerinfo takes care of it on their own.

We're in no rush at this moment and prefer not to waste energy pursuing things if they already know who was effected and will fix for all.

Well, I give her credit for trying. She has kept in contact with me, without me needing to bug her to do so. She emailed me this morning saying that TU "confirmed" to her that the hard inq had been removed from my report. But, as of this morning, it has not been removed. I emailed her and told her the same.

TU is really bugging me with their constant b.s. lies. I may file for this. They are getting real close to pushing me over the edge.

She got my inquires removed yesterday. She sent me a form to fax to TU on Friday and by Tues. They were corrected. She's great, very responsive.

As soon as I found out about the hard inquiries, I called PG. The CSR named Rhonda explained that that TU changed their coding system and that PGs inquiries had started showing as hard since Sat. She said that either her or a supervisor would call me the next day as soon as the info had been changed. The next day Jason called me and left a message that TU was working on the problem and it would be fixed within 7 days. The problem is now fixed on my report. They still show on the PG report, but not on any other (I've double checked this).

I never had to even ask them to fix it, they just did.

I must say that I've been very impressed with the customer service and the overall service of PG. I admit it was a shock to find the inquiries, in my case, no blood, no foul. Especially after the amount of bumpage I've gotten with help from their $1 service.

Mine (2 Inq) are still there. I will have to e-mail this contact person to try to remove them.

    Picantel,

Mine are on my report still. I didn't email you about this, because I wasn't in a hurry. I emailed PG on 5/5/03, but haven't gotten a call or email from them. My email is watson@dgusa.com Could you please email me the contact?
