I've sent 4 emails to Privista to cancel my "free" trial period before they charged me, and NO response. Now, they have charged my card the monthly fee that I didnt want. Any advice on how to cancel them and get my money back?????????
One the regulars here posted the step-by-step online method for that just last week or so. Can't recall who it was, and my search results come up too broad to find it. Was it Saar or ???? Someboy'll pipe up soon! Don't worry.
I signed up with Privista and the NEXT DAY they charged my card 29.95. The offer said free 30 day free trial and then the charge would be billed to my credit card. I sent an email to Privista and said I was disputing the charge and sending a report to the FTC should the refund not be made to my card. I got the 29.95 credit two days later with a letter of apology. Orchard, my credit card company, gave me an immediate 29.95 credit after I explained the false and misleading advertising. I hope this has helped a little bit.
Someone please help me...I can't find the step by step message on here. They've already charged my card and I'm not getting ANY response from the FOUR emails I've sent. Anyone at least have a phone number for them? HELP!!!
Privista sends you a confirmation email with confirmation number when you sign up for their service. In the email they sent there is a "cancellation@privista.com" hyperlink that allows you to cancel. You should have that Privista email in your own mailbox.
