I just dont understand. I just checked Privista (just updated). My EQ score went down from 577 to 556. I then compared very carefuly the details of both this report, and last weeks report.

I owe a total of $238 less now then I owed last week. 3 inquires dropped off since last week, and there are no changes on previous deliquencies. I am confused. My status improved, but score dropped 21 points.

I tripple checked it. The ONLY changes are less money owed, and 3 less inquires.

    AM I just cursed ?

    Thanks for letting me vent.

Are you talking about "privistas" score or Equifax??

Don't take any stock in privista's score.

    Talking about Privista's score....

    But check this out.....

Last week my wife had 8 items on her report according to Privista. 7 were negative, and one positive. THe positive is a credit card we share. On my report the credit card balance stayed the same, but her report shows the balance lower.

    Now here is the biggie....

6 ACCOUNTS ARE MISSING FROM HER REPORT THAT WERE THERE LAST WEEK ! THese accounts were not due to drop off for several years, but in 1 week, they are gone. She now has 1 positive, and 1 negative.

Her score went from 596 to 613 !??!?!?!

I don't know....Maybe it's because she is better looking. I am convinced now that PRIVISTA is a bunch of B.S. and will probably cancel my subscription with them. Maybe they didnt think that some of us really study our reports, and aren.t just sheep.

    Sorry, had to vent again.

Well, I've never used Privista, but I checked my Qspace report, which showed my "equifax" fico as 679. I was thrilled.

Then because the equifax listings had some boo boos, I pulled the EQ report from their website.... and my score was listed as 633.

We applied for financing on a home, it was 626. I am hoping that since I just paid off 3 credit cards, it will jump higher. (2 of the checks came through the bank this morning, wahoo!)

They're all full of shiznit, if you ask me.
