my EQ score dropped 3 points today because of a friggin PRM inquiry from Household Bank.

Hasd to be some other reason - as PRM inquires do NOT count in your score.

Did you have a higher balance on a credit card? Something had to make the change - but it would not be the PRM.

nothing changed, I swear..I checked it out several times now trying to figure out what changed.

that is the only other difference is my own pull of the report for today. :/

EDIT: Im with george..random number generator.

Check the balances of any of your tradelines carefully - it has to be one of them.

Exactly. PRM's do NOT cause point loss.

no change other than the PRM and my pulls from creditwatch. had my wife check it for me in case I missed something. no updates on my report other than the pulls since 1/20/2003

Look, over the last 3 or 4 months, my score has dropped between 5 and 10 points EVERY month for no reason, as a matter of fact, my score has dropped today. So it is not the prm, it's just bogus scores.

I have to agree. Remember also that the scores are supposed to some sort of avereage of everyone else, so as other peoples credit behavior changes, your behavior is scored differently.

PRM is a promotional inquiry and it means that the creditor wants to offer you something. I believe they only get limited info and do not even see your whole file.
