When I log into privacyguard I get my report as of 4/27/03. Why am I not getting a report dated today? Very strange.....
Are you aware that you need to order a new one to see a new one? You should order the 3b report on the left side of the middle of the page. You will need to enter your ss# each time you order.
According to my report, no more hards are being pulled, but the inquiry is still there...I'm waiting patiently!!
I have got hards from them on EQ and Trans Union, I emailed them and all I got was an automated response. Faxed them last week and still have not heard anything. They made a big mess of my inquiries. If they are not off by next week, I am talking lawsuit!
Has it been established that those consumerinfo.com inquiries are hard on eq?? I'm kinda baffled on that one - in one aspect they (3 in total) do look hard, but when I did what LKH said looking at the inquiries listed w/ the score they aren't listed...which is it??
If LKH confirmed that they're soft on Equifax for his reports, then you can take that to the bank! It's very unlikely that the knuckleheads at PrivacyGuard have different procedures in place for different customers vis-a-vis Equifax. (It *is* safe to use the word "knucklehead," isn't it?) So... my conclusion is... I'd bet on LKH. Doc
They are not hards on Equifax. Doc - they have fixed it so that no more hards are being pulled, but getting the hards that do show deleted is proving to be a PITA. PG emailed a letter that I need to fax to TU. I then need to notify PG that I faxed it. It will then take up to 2 weeks for it to be removed. It's a crock.
I have my paper reports from EQ from last week. As far as I know, these are hards. It doesn't say anywhere that these are ones that I only see. When I go home tonight I will check again.
LOL, we're posting at the same time. Well that does sound like a pain. I had the same trouble with another 3-in-1 provider a couple of years ago, and it was about as excruciating as a root canal to get them to fix it (but they finally did). Doc
You know, I understand where you're coming from... Equifax sometimes makes it VERY difficult to tell them apart. Regardless, if you examine your CREDIT SCORE at Equifax.com (as opposed to just your regular credit report at their site), then those FICO pages will tell the real tale. Go look. Doc
LOL I replied at the same time you guys were! I am at work so I dont moniter this board all day. I guess the next thing for me to do is get these things off my TU!! Thanks Doc
Re: Re: problem with privacyguard I for one wasn't doubting what you said or I wouldn't have brought it up. I couldn't remember which board this discussion came up on before....
