i just received a letter from transunion, stating that they will not re-investigate 3 items i am disputing, because i disputed it a couple a months ago, and they state the only way they will re-investigate if i would to have any court papers or an authenic letter from the creditor stating what it should be updated to. don't they have to investigate regardless by law??? the three agency i am talking 2 are from franklin coll svs and gold key credit inc. and all the accounts are paid in full. i disputed them as not mine, so how can i have any paper work, on the letter they sent it states the three agency and contact information. what should do i do??? so confused!!! what letter should i use, all help would be great....:)

they have been paid in full about 2years ago. and they report them as paid charge off. can't they just remove it?

If it was your account, and it was charged off, and then paid after it was charged off, then it may be accurate. It should show $0 balance.

When you dispute, the CRA just asks whoever is reporting if it is accurate.

Are these 3 separate debts originally owed to 3 separate original creditors? What type of debts were they originally?

they are three individual accounts one was medical (gold key is the ca) and other two local phone services used franklin ca. they report A $0 BALANCE. ALSO I HAD TWO PAID CHARGED OFF ACCOUNTS ON TRANSUNION WITH VERIZON AND NOW THEY SHOW I HAVE THREE ACCOUNTS WITH VERIZON AND ALL THREE AS PAID CHARGED OFF, HOW CAN THAT BE I CALLED VERIZON AND THEY STATED THAT I ONLY HAD TWO ACCOUNTS AND THEY HAVE BEEN PAID FULL WITH $0 BALANCE, BUT WERE PAID AFTER CHARGE OFF.
