I've been told that a process server has been to my address twice in the last couple days. Both times I have been away. The second time he left a business card with the person I share my home with. He wants me to call him so he can deliver the court papers. If this guy can never get ahold of me, can I still be sued in my cities court, and do they have to sue me in the city I live in? I dont want to look at my credit report one day and find out I was sued and I was never informed because they claim they could never get ahold of me and I lost by default.
