Okay, I'm looking at four Equifax reports here. All obtained online, about a week apart from each other (1 month worth of updating). May 24th, I disputed (for the last time) Genesis Financial, which recently reappeared after there was a problem with my file. (I have other credit reports sent from Equifax that do not show this, so even though Genesis is deleting, I'm going to sue Equifax for reinserting). I also disputed Household Auto Finance, who marked me 30 days past due because they wouldn't accept the check from Roadloans until it cleared which they said took 14 days. Effect on score went from 590 to 649 Applied for 2 accounts, Chevron & Exxon gas cards (both approved, although Chevron has yet to report anything to anyone). Score stayed at 649 for 2 weeks. Disputes came back. No change from what was currently being reported, but score dropped from 649 to 561. Score had stayed the same even after applying for the two new accounts (I ran a report days after). Now I'm back to the sub 600 mark again. The oldest account on my CR is 7 months old because Equifax deleted a positive car account sometime ago. I was thinking of faxing the copies of the UDF's I got from the finance co when they tried to sue me and lost and I took them to court and won. They updated the report as paid as agreed/0 balance on Experian but Equifax and Transunion deleted because they said it was unverifiable. I figured if I faxed them the UDF's they would put them back on my CR which would give me 2+ years of positive history not including my new credit which is less than or equal to about 7 months. I'm going to end up having to sue Household. Got a letter stating that Roadloans had not received the title and that I was not adhering to stipulations of contract. (I have no control over the title, Household has it.) So...basically the only thing that changed on my report was the date verified or date of last activity. Which left me ruffly 85+ points below what my score should have been. Equifax is listing Genesis wrong anyway. They have it marked as a personal loan that's past due 120+ days but in the comments it says Collection Account. It says that they don't know the date it was opened (under date opened it says unknown). Reported so incorrectly I could scream. This is just as bad as Experian who deleted my brand new citibank card because I disputed the fact that it didn't have the credit limit reported like the rest of my reports do. They just deleted it. I'm going to call Household on monday and try to straighten this whole mess out with them and will probably end up going down there in person to beat the crap out of them if I have to. They haven't even sent me the copy of the contract marked paid in full. since the payoff I have recieved nothing from Household, not even a phone call. But they continue to report my account and it wasn't until I disputed it as paid in full that they even updated it! Here's a bit of proof hot off the presses, just in case anyone was wondering.
