    ...this post is worthy of a bump.

    A lot of us bought houses over the past year.

    When that January tax bill comes, many of us will feel JACKED the likes of which mbna could never even match, courtesy of your friendly county assessor.

    The county Taxed my parents on a lot for 25 years that the county had taken from my parents and gave over to the state.
    They have been sending me a tax bill for property that hasn't existed since 1982.
