    Dear Members,

We are considering modifying or creating the following forums. As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated. In particular we are looking for feedback on the Sample Letters/Subfolders categories. We are not entirely convinced that the latter breakdown is sufficiently clear and/or comprehensive. Please share your comments and suggestions.

    Thank you.

Rename "Credit Talk" to "Credit Repair" to further focus discussions on credit repair matters (strategies, services, etc.) and weed out those discussions relating to the prime market. We will review the archived messages manually and move non-related discussions into one of the other two categories.

Everyone has read access, only members can post.

A resource center for letter templates.

    -Request copy of credit report
    -Cease and desist
    -Debt validation
    -Dispute letters
    -Intent to file complaint
    -Procedure request
    -Prove it or remove it

Members-only forum. Members can read letters, rate them, and contribute their own. Contributed letters are subject to moderator approval before they are published.

A dedicated forum for those with good or excellent credit to discuss the prime credit market including credit card offers, features, benefits, etc.

Great forum topics. As a sub primer, I hope to be prime one day, but reading about those in the prime world makes me anxious. So, as requested, my feedback is positive.

I agree with starting a new forum for the sample letters and such, but is there really a need to split the prime/non-prime discussions?

I enjoy the posts here on both subjects and I think there is frequently crossover between the two. I think trying to artificially split them would make for two very confusing message boards.

I agree with Dave, my experience tells me the participation will drop once you split the board into too many subjects. Just my opinion.

I agree with DaveLV's comments. Don't split the subprime from the prime discussion. Too much stuff crosses over into both worlds. Also, newcomers here will likely start as subprime and end as prime by reading EVERYTHING.

I love the folder idea on templates.

I'll have to agree with Erica...I like the split.

And, just because I'm such a good fence rider, (I heard they are considering a new rodeo sport for this skill) I see the other posts as valid. For me, it's just personal preference in that I don't have a great deal of interest in the prime areas right now.

Kinda like seperating the Avalanche from every other hockey team!

Whichever is fine with me. I think the letter forum will be a great resource.

I also see the other posts as valid. There are many things that I can learn from the 'primers', but right now, I'm concerned with cleaning up my reports. Prime will be helpful, but later on.

As it is right now, I have to sift through the 'prime' posts and rarely find anything that will help me. BUT, then again, some day they will.

I'm not sure where everyone started, but if they all started in sub-prime hell, like me, then, YES I can use that information. Anything that will help me further my credit portfolio is extremely helpful.

I guess I'm just talking in circles now, but I can see both sides to the separation and non-separation.

Quoted DaveLV, because I couldn't think of any way to say it better but I feel the same way...I guess I could have just said - ditto.

How about a section for credit repair? Such as a place where people can share their experiences with Junum, Lexington, etc. ?

Sounds like an excellent idea to me....

I would keep the Prime and Subprime together. Each side would have something positive to contribute and in a sense they are all closely related. Good Ideas Folks!

I LOVE the idea about having a section for Junum, Lexington, etc. Super thought, Ender!

I'm all for the new forums, but also agree that you shouldn't split them up into too many and subprime should remain together, but Junum, Lex and credit letters should be in their own area.

    This is really...

I believe having the sample letter forum is great. I also believe having a forum devoted to credit rebuilding strategies is also a great idea. I see the division being created along the prime and sub prime line. I would fall under the keep them together road.

However, perhaps there is another way to section of specific credit cards. You have the frequent searches option, but maybe you could have a capital one forum, a citibank forum and so on. Just a suggestion.
