About 3 wks ago I sent a PFB to Providian regarding my charged off credit card. I was contacted and told they would pull my file back from the CA and work with me. About 3 days ago I sent another PFB to them (in compliment form). Today I received a call that they reversed over $300 in late & OL fees and that they have re-opened my account. I need to pay just a little over $200 to get back under the limit and he said they gave me 3 months with no late or OL fees to be charged. Then I will be making regular payments and my account is OPEN. They are the bomb!!!
How long has your account been in a charge-off status? I just got them deleted from my Trans Union Report, but the are still reflected on my Experian. Maybe a PFB letter will work for me too?
hey thats great news! They closed me several months ago due to a late payment . I would like to have the account back. I'll giv eit a try. Just what did you say to them?
Good News Christi This company has has mixed reviews... but some of us have had GREAT experience with them. In time dont forget to write PFB so they can lower your APR.
