Recently Providian sent me a notice of change to my account agreement that states that they will be using arbitration as a method of disputing outside the court system. This arbitration provision governs when and how many disputes consumers may have instead of decided in court.

Also the notice stated that if consumers do not want this Arbitration to become part of the agreement we have to request in writing within 45 calendar days.

Do you think if I refuse this, and stick to the current agreement, Providian will not be as generous increasing my credit?

    Thanks
