    Hi, everyone :)

I did a BT with my new Bank of America Visa to pay Providian on 11/11. BofA already shows it was completed but Providian doesn't show any credit or payment. Even Crap 1 shows an electronic payment credited the same day BofA made it.

Sorry, I just don't want to get screwed by Providian anymore than I already have. My due date is in a couple of weeks (11 days), and I just want to be done with them finally. Thanks for any input.

Same here. I did a BT from Amex Blue to Providian. Providian is not showing the payment and my due date is this weekend.

    Best regards,

    Hi, Mirage -

When did you do the BT?

Directly at time of the online-application 11/03, with a follow up call to cs on the 11/05.

Looks like I'm going to have to make a payment and have a credit when the BT does post.

    Best regards,
    Mirage

    Re: Re: Providian BT

That's outrageous - Providian is such a rip-off. I hope they don't continue to charge interest on the balance that they didn't credit the payment to.

    Mirage -

I just called BofA, and my payment was mailed to Providian 11/10. The CSR said Providian doesn't accept electronic payments (?). That's odd, considering I pay them online all the time and payments post the next day.

Maybe they know they're bank transfers, who knows. Good riddance to them.

    Good luck w/yours :)
