If Providian has deleted a chargeoff which they had assigned to Asset Acceptance, LLC (CA). Is Providian obligated to contact the CA and ask them to remove the tradline? I wan't to know so that I can continue to come down on them now that I have their attention. I gave them (OC) 5 days to delete earlier this week and as of yesterday the tradeline was removed from EX and TU. I had disputed the CA (Asset Acceptance) tradeline about 3 weeks ago and as of yesterday it says: Privacy Guard Listing: Acct Status: Open Monthly Payment: $0 Date Open: N/A Balance: $0 Limit: N/A Past Due: $0 Remarks: Dispute Resolution Pending It is also reporting as a positive account (of course). What the hell? Does this mean it is coming off? I am thinking about calling EQ tomorrow. Alex
