Of course, insult upon injury, the email shows a Gold GetSmart... but my perfect credit record with them doesn't qualify me for a Gold.. just the Blue Classic... like I'd submit someone to 16.9 interest... (Ok, I'm sounding like George) Just keep it for ratios and aging right now.. but boy, that ticks me off to see them wanting to make more money from me... guess their illegal tactics have curtailed some so now they're trying at least legitimate revenue sources... but still... I laughed as I threw that email away. Ah the pride of giving a Providian AU to someone... (hack, eck, yack)... I don't even carry them in my wallet. online purchases only... They just don't get it. I have over 10k in avail credit with them... 3 cards all sitting there in the drawer... gaining age, helping ratios... but never really being used and Providian not making a dime more off me... and still, they don't get the hints! GRACE PERIOD DECENT INTEREST RATES CONSOLIDATE MY CARDS!!! don't need 3... they just don't have a clue how to approach or keep the "middle market"... when they get to 37 months... seeya Of course, hopefully the cards will be sold to someone decent by then...
