For the past two months, I have paid my Providian account at the Providian website. The payments were posted in less than one business day and the bank sent a confirmation of the payment. I don't know of any other bank that is this fast. This is awesome!
When I mail my payments, the payment appears in 3 days from the day I mailed it. I agree they are quick.
I did mine on 9/1 (in the morning) and it posted on 9/1!! I was impressed also! I feel so comfortable with their on-line service because I just don't trust the mail. I've gotten screwed over by the mail before. Never again! Most of my cards are on-line now which is soooo nice!
