I have read a few messages here that state that some folks have gotten Providian to lower the APR on their account. Could anyone let me know how you did it? Thanks!
that's true jack.. It depends on how long you've had your account with them. I think the least amount of time would pobably be 6 months b4 any lowering of the APR. Anther Key factor is if you carry a balance. Just call and ask to talk to a supervisor and tell them that you like the card would like to use it more often but the apr is so steep. if you already have a balance point that out and tell them you carry a balance and need an apr deduction. (all this is assuming you have a perfect pay history. Over the limit dosn;t really matter , in my case it didn't . good luck
