It depends on how long you've had your account with them. I think the least amount of time would pobably be 6 months b4 any lowering of the APR. Anther Key factor is if you carry a balance. Just call and ask to talk to a supervisor and tell them that you like the card would like to use it more often but the apr is so steep. if you already have a balance point that out and tell them you carry a balance and need an apr deduction. (all this is assuming you have a perfect pay history. Over the limit dosn;t really matter , in my case it didn't . good luck
