Informal Survey: Providian Grace Prd. The last few days of posting about Providian have been fascinating. Most of the problems people are having aside from wanting larger credit limits (don't we all) is with grace periods. I've gone in the last few months from having them not even admit that there IS such a thing as a grace period to one being offered to me on both of my accounts. I'd like to know -- how many of you with Providian accounts have a grace period? Did they hassle you about granting it? I'm not going to repost my story again, but if you search for my name you'll find I long post from Monday where I discuss the results of my call to retention.
Re: Informal Survey: Providian Grace Prd. I have a grace period on my Providian Visa (looks like it's Platinum with the big "P" on it but it's not) but I don't have one on my Mastercard. The Visa came with a grace period...that was in the original paperwork, as was the "no grace period" on the MC.
