I have had my providian gold for 2 and a half years, and HAVE NOT RECIEVED A CREDIT INCREASE IN over a year neither have I recived an offer. I never missed a payment or came close to the limit.I have a$2800.00 with a $1000.00 balance.IM Thinking about ditching this card.
welcome to providian. I have only had it 11 months with a wimpy $300 limit and have never missed a payment but they always turn me down for an increase. I even had that john rausch call it in for an increase and they turned me down.
I got a nice increase last October. Nothing since. I am putting them in the sock drawer. I think the government is forcing them to cool it for awhile. I would not expect them to be giving out many CL increases until about May 2003.
Yeah, Providian is getting tight with the increases. On my annual, I received a whopping $60.00 increase. So I am up at $6860.00. I opened my account in 6/2000 Best regards, Mirage
