i once had a providian card about 2 years ago that got behind to the point where it was closed by providian, but I paid it off to them shortly after that. it shows on my CR as: "closed/current was 60 days past due" and in the notes it says: 'closed at credit grantors request' is there a way to get this removed? i fear providian is hard to slip anything past.
