I just met someone who is newly employed in Providian's customer service office located in Texas. This person said that once hired Providian requires you to close any Providian accounts you have with them. No Providian employee is permitted to possess a Providian card. This is interesting.
That is interesting. I know brokerages don't allow you to have accounts elsewhere, but I never heard of banks not allowing you to have their credit cards. http://www.creditsense.com

Thanks Barry. I just got an offer from American Express for 3.9% APR that will increase my limit to as much as $48,000 if I transfer up to that much. Unbelievable. http://www.creditsense.com
