I've been reading posts from others and it looks like they just got me too. They lowered my cl from $1000 to $250. I closed the acct and they had to nerve to try and get me to keep it open. I've had the acct for 1 yr this month and never been late and never gone over my cl. I guess they didn't like that I paid it in full every month. Oh well. Their loss.
They are trying to close accounts for their subprime customers, and lower limits to cut their charge offs. Things are changing big time at PVN!
I have a $3000 limit with a $2000 balance. I haven't charged on it for three months, but keep paying it down. They haven't changed my LOC, but hit me hard with an interest rate increase to 26.9%. Providian sucks. As soon as I can I'm gonna get another card and transfer.
