Well, a few weeks ago, I asked you guys about accepting an offer Providian made to me to increase my CL $500 for $29. Of course, everyone said no, to wait. Well, I didn't. Okay, but the other day, I called to find out my balance and the automated response told me I had $1500 in available credit. Apparently Providian increased my CL the $500 I "paid" for and an additional $1000. Nice surprise (especially seeing that I was over-the-limit in Jan). That increase helped by balance to limit ratio so much that the payment I was going to make put me at 25% of my limit and I'm moving onto my NEXT card to pay down. Finally, some GOOD news around here!
