Has anyone been successful in negotiating a settlement with PROVIDIAN? If so, can you give the details? what about the telephone number or address at PROVIDIAN that specifically handles charged off accounts? Any info is greatly appreciated. TIA
I would also love to know if anyone has been successful. I just dug up a settlement letter one of their collection agencies sent to me about 7 months ago to see what the negotiated amount was and they wanted 70% of the original amount which I thought was high. I have another charge off from Capital One and they only wanted 30% of the original amount. I am going to try for 30% and see what they say. Post and let me know how your negotiations go. I would write them and not call though.
