I was just comparing my equifax and experian reports... I disputed a providain account with experain last month online and they verfied it... I just noticed that providain pulled two soft and a hard on 12/02/01 on my experian report... The account was closed and paid as agreed in 99... I am going to send them a letter asking them to prove they had pp to pull my report as a hard on 12/02/01 which i really doubt they have as i did not apply for a card with them since i closed the old one... Would it be possible for me to file a small claims suit against them even if they did remove it?.. and if so do you think i can use the threat of suing over the non pp inquiry to have the old account removed?.. I am really just trying to get the late pays off my old account... I tryed to send a good will adjustment and a pfb but err ya its providian...
