Use your Providian Visa Card! So take advantage of your special 9.99% promotional purchase APR -- book your ideal vacation, make some home improvements or treat yourself to some new clothes -- whatever you like. Just remember to use your Providian Visa card for purchases! --- On the back the new account terms are: Beginning on your statement date in August 2001, the Finance Charges section of your Account Agreement is amended so that the ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE (APR) for purchases is 9.99% (corresponding to a daily periodic rate of 0.0273%) through the day before your statement date in November 2001 (the "Promotional Period"). Starting on the day after the Promotional Period, the APR for purchases will return to the APR for purchases in effect immediately before the Promotional Period. All other terms of your Account Agreement, including the APR for cash advances, remain in effect. As a reminder, your Account Agreement may disclose other rates that could apply if your payment is late 2 or more times in any 6-month period. ---- Not really a bad deal.
