I had a Providian charge off in 2000. I paid the account in full through Gulf State. I just went to Providians web site and submitted an application for a card. I got approved with a $1000.00 limit and they said they will contact me to verify my application information. My question is, do you think they will still give me the account even with my past history with them.
They just called me to verify my application info and told me I am approved and will get the card in 7-10 days. This is great, I am not quite ready for prime yet but I think this card will give me a big boost.
