   Not really, but they did remove the paid charge off from all the cra's after my fifth dispute as not mine. So I guess in a way they are not that bad . Now I have just 1 derog left on all my reports, Cross Country bank, I have tried everything and they won't budge.

   Did you dispute directly with Providian or with the credit reporting agency?
   
   I have a similar entry on my report, but it's due to drop of in 2004. If I can dispute it in a way that would get it removed sooner, that would be great.
   
   Any ideas?
