Hello, Does anyone know if Providian still offers a secured card? If so do you have the phone number? The only offer on the web site is for the GetSmart card. Thanks BJ
Try FCNB secured Mastercard or Visa and they give 2 times more of your deposit. They didn't report you as secured card to credit bureaus. I had First Deposit National Bank (Currently Providian Bank) report your account as secured account and I had a big experience. They blocked my account from using it because they found out I had many charge-off accounts back in 94. By the way, I don't have any experience with FCNB when I had their secured card.Right now I have Eddie Bauer Mastercard(unsecured ) for almost a year and I have no bad experience with them. Ron.
