I noticed mails that says "Providian is NOW Washington Mutual" Will they drop Providian name? what would happen to my Providian's PAYPAL branded VISA? Thanks! Thomas

I got a letter from them months ago when the merger or buyout was taking place, they DIDNOT say anything about them dropping the Providian name. I'm pretty sure the name isnt going anywhere, as would be the same with your paypal card name. -hope this helps Lucas
I stand corrected I talked to Providian CSR today and they explained there will be new cards issued at some point, when that is they didnt know. Lucas
I kinda figured because I was watching my mailman delivering numberous statements that states "Providian is now Washington Mutual" ummmm....
