called providian today and asked them to lower the interest rate as my husband has been a customer for 4 years and they have made mucho bux off of him. gave me the line about there are no programs available right now for your card. what kinda b.s. is that? i'm not sure if we should apply for a lower interest card this month, or wait till we have a few mortgage payments listed on our cb reports. also, cap 1 let me go over my credit limit, love when they do this. i thought i had the request in that they just let the card be declined when it reached the max point. i would rather be embarassed than pay them $29. guess i will call and ask them to reverse the charge, i won't lose anything by asking i guess.
Providian won't lower mine either. And they won't give me an increase so I can add my husband as an AU. I am wondering what the success rate is with PFB and Providian. ????
