I have 2 providian cards, one has a balance one doesn't, the one that doesn't I pay off every month and I have had it for over a year. I just got hit with the yearly fee 2 months ago. Someone once told me that if you call them and tell them to cancel it cause you don't want to pay the yearly fee, that they usually cancel the fee and let you keep your card active, has anyone heard this before and does it work?
