If you don't respond to the upgrade that Providian have you to pay for will you still get a credit line increase without paying for it if so how much longer will it take. I received an offer but I don't know to pay for it or not but I do want my credit line to be more. Any input will help.
Yes, they will increase your line even if you don't pay for that. But if you want to accelerate the process, then maybe you should pay for it. Usually they increase with couple of hundred every time. If you pay the fee they will go up 1000 or something like that. I got such an offer ($99 for an increase of $1000) and i 've turned it down. Still got two regular increases of $200 and $400. For me there's no point in paying the fee, I don't use this card that much...
