Does anyone know a way to get Providian to remove an annual fee? I just looked at my statement yesterday and they hit me with a $59 annual fee, causing me to go over my limit.

This is a secured card and they refuse to switch me to the regular visa. They keep pulling Experian which has all wrong information on it.

Anyway, I feel like a useless customer to them, but I still don't want to pay this annual fee!

    Any ideas?

Well you could ask then 10 times, and 9 1/2 times out of 10 they won't remove it. They are scum of the earth.

I've had my annual fee waived on my account for three consecutive years. I simply write to the Office of the President and away it goes. I belive the new gentleman in charge is Joe Saunders. Check on Planet Feedback for details.

    Good luck!
