I'm sending off for my Equifax credit report. Rejected for a credit card so I can get a free one. Question is should I give them my social security number? Any other personal infor? Don't they have all of this anyway?

You have to give ALL the information they need to confirm that it is YOU that is asking for the report...

    NAME
    ADDRESS
    CITY
    STATE
    ZIP
    SS#
    D.O.B.
    PHONE #?

Why don't you call on the phone?

Maybe I'll try that, I see they have an 800#. Might speed the process up a bit.

Thanks George. I called Equifax and Trans Union and was able to order both free. Did lie to Trans Union about Current employer, hope it does not cause trouble but just did not want them to know.
