Is there anyway to get Public Records removed from your credit report? Its has been paid in full, But is listed as Judgment Satisfied on my credit report. Which I have been told is bad.
It's a valid public record correct? The tradeline is reporting as satisfied which is correct if the judgment is paid.
Yes its Valid and reported as satisfied. I was told that even showing satisfied it is a big negitive on my credit report, is this true????
What a judgement or a collection means to a potential creditor is that, at some point in the past, you got seriously behind in your payments. That looks very bad, even if you caught them all up, because, well you got behind and they don't like that. Paying off your collections is proof that no good deed goes unpunished.
Have you tried asking the company that listed the tradeline to vacate the judgement? Since it's paid, they may bite.
Will stick on your credit report for 7 years from the original date of judgment. Supposedly negative items will fall off a CR after 7 years, even though it's paid earlier. Bankruptcy public record entries fall off after 10 years
Yes, it can be removed insofar as public records are very rarely accurate and complete. This is because Lexis-Nexis reports them by combing the public records within courthouses and through other means. You will want to dispute the date filed, the docket or case number, and any alleged amount requested.
Berru, Yes there is a way to delete PAID or UNPID public records from your credit reports PERMANENTLY, it takes about 5days and i can show you examples, i do this for people every day. If you would like further information email me EMAIL REMOVED BY MOD, i can assure you this isnt information from a scam.
Its called filing an affadivit of identity theft and it is illegal unless you are a victim. It varies from state to state but, it involves making a false statement to law enforcement. Can be a felony or misdemeanor. Don't do it.
