Hi, I have several accounts that have been charged off and are now in collections. I want to negotiate payment for deletion of the tradelines, but my credit report shows both the original creditor (and the original poor payment record) as well as the tradeline for the collection companies that currently hold the accounts. When I negotiate deletion for payment, will the original creditors come off of the report to? Or am I stuck with those tradelines... Also... I have a few college loans (all in good standing) that have been sold to other 'loan servicing' companies - But my credit report still shows the original lender AS WELL AS the new loan servicing company - so each loan shows up twice. Is there any way of having them removed? Would it be good to keep them on my report? Thanks in advance for your help and input. B
Usually the CA cannot negotiate to have OC deleted. Don't know about student loan question. Bump gets you back up to the top of the forum.
benbenben, I was interested in the answer to your question as well. Since noone had responded and your question was now on the 2nd page of questions and no longer on the front page, I simply replied with "bump" which brought your question to the top of the first page. Sorry If I confused you, KingsX
