If you request an investigation online and the items show up as Under Investigation on your report, do these Under Investigation items show up on a report that a creditor pulls when you apply for a card?

Does it show up as Under Investigation or do they not show up at all?

    Thanks.

Good question....I do know that disputing is supposed to raise your score....hmmm

I believe I've read posts that confirmed AMEX (who pulls experian) can see disputed items and indeed asked about them. While items are in dispute, experians' creditexpert score does not increase, unlike equifax/FICO...which does.

I disputed online last night for things that were on FUSA and Discover. I had already disputed them to say Included in BK. I know I read on there, if things are verified, they can't be redisputed, but I thought I read on here that you shouldn't give up??

I didn't dispute the "exact" info I did last night, so I hope they even look at it. I want the "charge off and collection info and also the late history removed since they're counting from the time I filed until the discharge.

How often should you dispute? Give it a few months and try again? (the same info, if not removed this round?)

    TIA

You can dispute the first lie so why not the second?
