I found out that MBNA increase my Quantum Card limit from $21300 to $22,400 without asking. They increased my Quantum Card limit every 2 to 3 months. Ron.

Which leads one to ask: Ron....what are you doing that MBNA likes so much? Do you use it and pay it off or what's your pattern of charging and paying? (If I may be so personal?) They started me with 10k and I am wondering where it will go.....

I have used it for purchases every month...PAID IN FULL I have used it for purchases every month...PAID 1/3 EACH MONTH I have used it for a BT 50% OF THE LIMIT AND PAID IT OFF IN LIKE 6 MONTHS I HAVE "MAXED" IT OUT AND PAID IT OFF IN 2 PAYMENTS I HAVE PUT IT IN THE SOCK DRAWER FOR 6 MONTHS WITH A BALANCE OF $0.00 BUT I DO HAVE >$30,000 BUT WHY DENY JUST $400??? I JUST WANTED THE CREDIT LIMIT TO BE "ROUNDED OFF"

George.......remember I know nothing about all of this, but I would assume that there comes a point where a credit card company is going to say, enough is enough. Maybe they think in excess of $30,000 in open credit is enough for someone? Why do you let this bother you so much? I wish I had a card with $30,000 in open credit on it, I'd be like dang. What's the point of $400 more when you are talking about $30,000 plus?

I didn't charge too much on both cards and charge it on restaurant and grocery purchases. I never go over my lmit and paid my bill as soon as the cycle come out. I paid it online and didn't mail my payment.By the way, I didn't balance transfer on both of my cards. Ron.
