Ok, I just received my TU credit report it came in my madien name, not my married last name. In fact, it has my married last name as my A.K.A. Is that normal? You would think it would be the other way around. Most of the stuff on here is probably in my maiden last name, but I'll have to check for sure. Anyway, was just wondering if this was a normal thing that they do.

My wife hasn't contacted the Social Security office yet to change her last name since we were married. Because of that her reports still show her maiden name, with entries included of her married name because they were on the applications for credit she completed. Otherwise, it may just be something you may have to clean up. I have 10 different combinations of my name on my EX report...

You will probably need to dispute it and send them a copy of your DL with your married name on it...

Then the aka will be deleted.

the akas could be a flag to potential creditors so I would get that deleted asap.
