My husband is an AU on my Sears card. I can't get Sears to delete it from my Husbands EX report, but they did delete it from the other two. I called and the rep I spoke to absolutely refused. Does anyone have any suggestions about this?
They "CAN" delete it from your credit report...they DON'T have to. You can CLOSE THE "AU" part... PAID/NEVER LATE BALANCE $0 "ACCOUNT CLOSED BY CONSUMER" WHY DELETE IT???
Call Sears and remove him from your account. Wait a couple of months and tell him to dispute the account online with Experian as "Not Mine. Please delete".
