How much effect does it have on your score if you close a card? I know that varying factors play in, balance to avail. credit ratio, length of time the acct. was open, etc.

I'm planning on keeping my oldest CC open as well as those without annual fees but there are others that I've accumulated in between that I'd like to close...mainly a Cap 1 and an Orchard. I don't want to keep paying an annual fee on something I don't use. The LOC on the two are small, less than $1k combined so I'm hoping it wouldn't have too much of an effect on the ratio part of the score.
