Question about collection account

I am certain this question has been already covered with some fashion or another in this forum, so please excuse my ignorance. I am new and this is my first post.

My question is that I have a collection account that has been paid for some time. Is there any way to motivate the CA to delete it? I have already challenged it through the credit bureau and it comes back as being verified.

Any suggestions with strategies would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Scott

    Methods/options:

-ask the CRA for a procedural request. If they cannot produce that, then ask them to delete
-is it medical? If so, search for posts on HIPAA
-ask the CA for validation (and dispute it again with the CRA after you receive the green card back)
-ask the CA for a goodwill removal

Please let me know if I am confusing you.

What kind of collection is it?

If its a paid collection, then I recommend the nutcase series. You can find a link for it thru the FAQs.

    I always forget about those.
