Just checked my score and it is at 657 and considered a med-high risk. How high does it need to be before it goes to med risk? Just curious. TIA

Just an FYI the scores on Credit Expert are ranged like this:

    High Risk 340-599
    Medium High Risk 600-659
    Medium Risk 660-719
    Medium Low Risk 720-779
    Low Risk 780-820

    You're welcome. :)

No I don't post on Ivillage just Bayhouse, Straight Talk, and Credit Card Freedom.

Just to let you know....CreditExpert scores can and usually are higher than your actual score. Mine tend to be about 90 points higher. For other people, it might be 20 points higher or lower even. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to the way it's scored.

My credit expert scores are about 25 pts. lower than the actual scores.

If you are posting from the ivillage board, let me give you a word of advice: this site is more knowledgeable and less biased.
The moderator over there doesn't like to see words like "dispute" and really doesn't give a lot of consumer friendly advice. A lot of their sponsors are credit cards, and it shows.

I will disagree a little with Dani. My score just hit 660, and I am still in the medium high risk. When I was at 666, I was in the medium risk group.

    Keltex,
I totally agree about the IVILLAGE boards. There was this new person on the board this morning that posted something about getting untrue lates removed. I almost told her to dispute it but then I changed my mind. I have never noticed anyone say anything about credit repair on that board. I mostly go there for EMOTIONAL support and then come here to learn about how to clean up my credit report...Each site has good things that I take from them. Thanks for the response...

My CE score is 22 points lower than my actual true score given to me by Countrywide 2 weeks ago.
