Just a quick question, I have a 73 yr old father who is curious as to whether or not he has a certain judgement still on his credit report. He is not very familiar with a computer and had asked me if I would be able to pull a report for him offline with his authorization. My question is...is it legal for me to obtain a credit report for my father with his permission or does he PERSONALLY have to do this?

    Thanks

I guess technically, he has to do it. But, really, who would know it is you pulling it online and not him? It would be just like was sitting beside you as you went through the process.

I pull my DH's for him. Because it's easier for me to. No big deal. You have his permission.

I pull my fiance's for him. He doesn't know much about credit or computers.

If any questions ever came up, you had his consent and acted under Power of Attorney.
