    Hi all,

I just finished my first disputes (two, both deleted, yipeee) and had a question. I was looking through old posts and saw that someone said that the deleted items can only be reinserted if they weren't verified within the time period. How do I know if that's what happened with mine? My letter looked like this:

WE HAVE COMPLETED OUR REINVESTIGATION AND THE RESULTS ARE SHOWN BELOW:

    COMPANY #1 #1234567890 DELETED
    COMPANY #2 #1234567890 DELETED

It doesn't say why they were deleted, I'm assuming it was because they verified the dispute was legit but how do I know it won't show up again in a week or two?

    Thanks for all the help!!

They most likely were deleted because no one responded to the dispute. If they respond in the future, the cra will allow it and will report it despite what the FCRA says about it needing to be certified as correct before re-reporting. If they do reinsert it, they are supposed to notify you within 5 days. There is no way to tell if it will reappear.
