I'm curious, does anyone know about what kind of score would be needed to get financed at a decent rate( 2.0-6.9). I also wonder what kind of score would be needed for the 0.00% finance. I have a truck through them now but I'm curious as to what opinions everyone has. As always thanks for the helpful and kind replies. Not sure but it might help to know I live in Texas.
    Thanks,

WE got a 2002 Denalli with a 704, but I was told by the dealership that 640 was the magic number

If you don't mind me asking what kind of APR did you get on your denalli? Thanks by the way.

    Bought a Saturn 2001 in June 2001 @ .9% financing for 5 yrs....total interest is like a whopping 500.00 for the 5 yrs LOL

Anyways my score at that time was in the middle 600's being I had a bankruptcy that was going to fall off in 2002.

My husband had bk in 1997, score of 600 and got a new car 2004 0% finance as a co-buyer. I was listed as a co-buyer as well. Nice way to rebuild credit.

How does the bank make money if they charge you 0% interest on a car loan? That doesn't make sense.

Thank everyone for the replies. I'm curious now as to what is needed to get the 0%APR. some say 620 some say as high as 750 (found it using the search). So, really what kind of score is needed. As always thank you.
