I am so glad I found this site. I hope you can help me.
I am trying to dispute all of my CR's mostly because after I filed BK there were so many errors.
I just signed up for the free trial of Identity Guard from TU. I was wondering if the score they give me seems really off to you guys. I have scores in the 580's with Equifax and Experian and Identity Guard says 339. I admit they have lots of mistakes but I used their little score calculator to see what would change if I fixed the errors and it only went up to 370. Maybe someone here can explain how it all works.
    Thanks, Kim

The only true FICO score is from Equifax...MyFico.com.
TU (through worthknowing.com, and Identity guard) and Experian (through CreditExpert) have scoring systems that give you something else (that is about the best way I can describe them). We have long debated which are closest to FICO and which are worthless approximations. You can now get your TU score from TU and even when ordering a hard copy report, you can request your score (that's how I got mine). If I were you I would try to get my TU score directly from TU and compare it to what you are getting from IdGuard.

The only way to look at each NON FICO score is in relation to the last time you looked at THAT score...has it gone up?...or has it gone down? Other than that they are meaningless.
