My wife disputed her student loan late-pays. There was no verification, so TU deleted the entire account rather than the late notations (which is OK with us). My question is, if they report next month, will the entire late payments show up again, or just start over like it is a new listing?
from my understandind a tradeline is never "deleted" from ones credit report. The cra's just suppress the information so no future creditor can see the information. Now if your student loan account is still open and still reporting yet the tradeline has been deleted i would assume it would be updated on your report.I would assume all the past information associated with the tradeline will show up unless you only disputed certain aspects of it. But if the account is closed you dont have to worry.
